I got this beautiful silk top yesterday from the Salvation Army store. It was half price, down from $12.00 to $6.00 so it was a bargain. I was a little apprehensive about buying it at it doesn’t fit me very well in the shoulders but with a cardigan over top you can’t see, and when I get the chance I might to a D.I.Y and cut off the sleeves?
I think the pleats on this top a beautiful, and add a point of difference which as you probably know by now I am very fond of. The cream colour of the fabric means it super versatile and I can wear it with practically anything. For this look I paired it with my tapa skirt – I call it my tapa skirt because it reminds me of tapa cloth? Could be completely off but that’s just what it makes me think of. As well as my red cardi which is super warm and comfy so hopefully I could wear this out in the wellington weather. Another thing that is super exciting (not really) is that this is another 100% op-shopped outfit. I always get a sense of achievement when I mange that. Stupid I know!
